Second Vector Piece ever! Woohoo! Small achievements *grin*.
I'm teaching myself to use Illustrator. This one has been in the works for a while. First off it took me a while to do the lady, (I know that I will come to love the pen tool, but we haven't reached a rewarding relationship just yet), then I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with her to make it a finished piece. After working on it this morning and getting it to this stage (final finishing bits in Photoshop), I'm still not entirely sure that it's finished, but I'm getting bored with it, so up it goes. Remind me next time to have a bit more practice in vectors (or anything) before attempting to do a person, the faces are so hard! It's also not a direct tracing off posterised stock like my first one was, so there's a fair bit of improvisation, which is probably where the not-quite-right bits are, XP Loosely based on one of my characters. (I wasn't sure about the section to place this in, I hope Vector is ok since it looks like quite a bit is in Photoshop, but I spent probably about 90% of the time in Illustrator, soo.....) We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
